Praetorian Outsource Marketing Southampton excited for Olympic torch weekend Celebrations!

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 12, 2012 - Leading up to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the torch will begin the Southampton leg of the relay from Town Quay. The torch will continue through Bargate, where the Praetorian Southampton office is based, before lapping St Mary’s stadium and finishing at Mayflower Park with a huge free event!

Praetorian Southampton are amongst the large number of spectators expected to be in the area for the once in a lifetime opportunity. Organisers have requested that visitors, who can, use public transport for the event to avoid issues with parking and also because of road closures while the torch passes through.

The event at Mayflower Park in the evening will be covered by the BBC and feature a variety of different acts, performers and entertainment. The acts will range from local performers to the headliner, rapper Wretch 32 whose singles include ‘Traktor’, ‘Don’t go’ and ‘Unorthodox’ which was a duet with fellow British music act Example.

Praetorian Outsource Marketing believes that Saturday will be fantastic for Southampton, with people traveling from further afield to witness the day’s events.
