July 11, 2012 - PRLog -- 2012 Multi-Cultural Music Festival on Saturday, August 25th from noon to 9 pm is a wonderful multicultural event for the whole family open to our neighbors in Anaheim and surrounding communities.  Free admission for the entire family, this is a “concert on the lawn” showcasing a diversity of innovative, multicultural, local Christian music and performances by local public schools. Concert Stage, outdoor seating, lawn seating, and vendor booths will stretch over the spacious lawns and shaded grounds. In addition to great music in our beautiful outdoor setting, we will have a lot of delicious BBQ items and Mexican American foods including Carne Asada.

Music Fest 2012 will be on the First Congregational Church of Anaheim (FCCA) campus at 515 N. State College on August 25th from 12 noon until 9:00 pm.  Performing on the Main Stage are groups that are musically diverse and include the popular and talented rock group Anonymous from Fullerton (www.theanonymousband.com ), The 5 Star Band playing great Country and Rock & Roll oldies, a new band called L.E.D. which includes Grammy nominated Isy Martin,  (www.ourstage.com/profile/isymartinjr) and Ricardo Valenzuela.

There will be also be Worship Groups and musicians from various churches including Clyde Martin from St. Paul’s Lutheran, Destiny Knoles from Saddleback Church, our own FCCA Choir, the young and talented group Greater Grace, Driven to Praise from Full Gospel Fellowship Anaheim and King Cyrus, also from Anaheim (http://www.myspace.com/kingcyrus7).

In addition there will be a great local mariachi band, the Katella High Dance Team and a lively group of Hot Hula Dancers! Each year we have had wonderful children’s games, face painting, Opportunity Drawings and artists selling their wares.  This year we have art vendors that are diverse and will bring quality items to the event, including donations for our Opportunity Drawings.

This is a Community event to draw the people of our neighborhoods together and fundraise for improving the grounds and parking lot for all the churches meeting at FCCA!  Admission is free and food and games are available for reasonable donations. So come out – bring the family and kids and your dancing shoes - have a good time and help out a good cause on August 25th!
If you would like to be a Sponsor or donate items for our Opportunity Drawings please contact the church office by calling 714-776-0960. Join us for a day of free music and family fun!
