Preferred Management Services Celebrates 17 Years in Business
Flagler Beach, FL – Preferred Management Services is excited to announce their 17-year anniversary!
Owner Lea Stokes launched Preferred Management Services in 1995. Today, they currently employ thirteen individuals, five of which are Licensed Community Association Managers. They have a full service accounting, administrative, and management staff representing over 50 years of combined experience in accounting and association management. And they are a licensed Community Association Management Firm with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation in the State of Florida.
Much of Lea’s success can be contributed to her involvement in the community. She has served as the Chairman of the Board of the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, president of the Flagler Beach Rotary, president of the Flagler Beach Chamber of Commerce, as well as being a board member of the Flagler Beach Historical Museum and the Florida Hospital Foundation Board.
“To look back on 17 years seems almost surreal,” says Stokes. “Time really does fly when you are having fun and love what you do,” she adds.
In April of this year, Preferred Management Services entered a joint venture with RE/MAX Oceanside. Together the firms purchased Commercial World Inc., a commercial only real estate firm. RE/MAX Oceanside provides the real estate sales and leasing portion of the business, and Preferred Management Services provides the property management and accounting services.
PMSI, a maintenance division of Preferred Management Services, offers home monitoring and maintenance services, including all types of minor repairs, home projects and property preservation. PMSI employs a team of experienced maintenance personnel that offer commercial and residential pool maintenance, janitorial services, lawn maintenance, and property preservation.
The third division of Preferred Management Services is financial services. This includes professional bookkeeping, payroll services, and accounting for small businesses.
