Metal stamps are this year’s big news in the craft world. Artists have discovered that with metal stamps they can personalize and incorporate metal elements into their projects- a relatively new medium for them. To keep up with demand, ImpressArt continues to expand its product line with new stamps in a large variety of fonts, designs, and flourishes, allowing mixed media artists even more creativity in their designs.
CHA “Hot 20 New Products of 2012”
The ImpressArt Metal Stamping Kits have been selected as one of CHA’s Hot 20 New Products of 2012. “We’re thrilled to be recognized by the crafting community for our new stamping kits,” said ImpressArt president Adam Wolter. “Each kit contains all the essential tools needed for a stamping project including a designer alphabet set, brass stamping hammer, and steel block. Creatively, the possibilities are endless.” The kits will retail from $65.00 to $70.00.
Workshops and Demonstrations
Celebrated designer and author Margot Potter and well-known mixed media artist Theresa Cifali will be alternating in the ImpressArt booth conducting make-and-takes. Theresa will be teaching the workshop “Metal Stamp Mania,” where she’ll be adding stamped metal elements into Ice Resin bezels to create one-of-a-kind pendant. “Adding metal elements enhances any mixed media project, but when you can stamp the metal with ImpressArt Metal Stamps it really takes the entire project to the next level,” says Theresa. “Customizing the disks with ImpressArt alphabet and design stamps will allow each student to create a piece that is truly original.” Theresa will also be hosting “The Iron Crafter” where participants will be competing for three Grand Prizes.
ImpressArt is an official CHA Show sponsor and members of the company will be available throughout the show to provide further information, stamping tips and answer any media requests.
