A news release issued Tuesday by HHS, quotes Sebelius as saying: “Millions of Americans are getting cancer screenings, mammograms and other preventive services for free thanks to the health care law” and Weber reacted swiftly to “set the record straight.”
The AMAC chief called the statement “another example of election year politicking,”
"Of course someone is paying for the services – the taxpayers, all of us, are paying for them through the Medicare tax and all the new taxes under Obamacare."
Weber said: "This is nothing more than a complete misrepresentation of the facts and a poor attempt at trying to ‘sell’ supposed benefits under the Affordable Care Act, which the majority of Americans would like to see scrapped."
He said it is a “concerted effort by Mr. Obama and his surrogates to shore up his faltering Presidential Reelection campaign. It’s a teaspoon of artificial sugar he’s feeding us while cramming a distasteful, indigestible and ill-conceived program down our throats.”
