The Inland Seafood & Quality Wine Experience is in its 10th year, and is unlike your standard, run-of-the-mill food show. These two culinary powerhouses join forces to showcase the best food and wine the world has to offer. “This has become a staple in the culinary world in the southeast,” says Chef Kevin Rathbun, “this is the sort of event that happens behind the scenes that helps develop a city’s personality.”
Based on food and wine pairings, the Experience was originally crafted for Atlanta chefs to help create the proper combination of dishes and libations for the upcoming year’s menus. However in the past ten years, the show has grown to attract food service professionals from all over the Southeast. Show goers have the chance to sample some of the best seafood and specialty items paired with the proper wines and spirits.
The Inland Seafood/Quality Wine Experience is much more than the average food show, showcasing vendors from across the globe. Through Inland Seafood and Quality Wine & Spirits, these dedicated fishermen, farmers, winemakers and distillers distribute their top quality products to restaurants, grocery stores, hotels and wine shops throughout Atlanta. It is because of their service and dedication combined with the creativity and innovation of the chefs who take their products and turn them into culinary masterpieces that Atlanta has become one of the most highly regarded food cities in the Southeast.
“We love being able to bring our city together over the great food and wine it has to offer. Every year the show gets better and better,” said Inland Seafood President Chris Rosenberger. “Inland Seafood and Quality Wine make a great team, and we have some exciting things in store for this year. It will definitely be an event to remember.”
The 2012 Inland Seafood/Quality Wine & Spirits Food and Wine Experience will take place at the AmericasMart in Downtown Atlanta on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 1:30 – 7:00 pm. It is open to anyone in the food and wine industries and registration is a must. It’s much more than a food show… it’s an experience.
