This gritty story starts in the slums of Washington, D.C. in the not too distant future, when the orphaned teen is abandoned by her boyfriend after she gets pregnant. With the alternative of homelessness, Chantal falls back on the oldest profession. Her will to survive is admired by a young man who makes her life worth living again. When his parents pressure him into breaking off their relationship, Chantal sinks to her lowest level.
The futuristic romance really takes off when Chantal meets a human clone named Erika. As Chantal recovers from the injuries life has dealt her, she and Erika become lovers and leave the city far behind. Stay tuned for Book Two of this amazing love story!
