Chicago Moving Company Gives Record Donation To Fight Breast Cancer

July 10, 2012 - PRLog -- E-Z Movers, Inc. of Chicago  announces a record donation for the non-profit Susan G. Komen, Chicagoland to help fight breast cancer.

With record sales expected for 2012, E-Z Movers  of Chicago also expects to make a record donation to the Chicagoland Area Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The Affiliate has awarded over $11.5 million towards the fight against breast cancer by funding grassroots breast health education, breast cancer screening, navigation and treatment projects, as well as national research. Up to seventy five percent (75%) of net proceeds generated by the Komen Chicagoland Affiliate stay in the metropolitan area while the remaining income supports the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program for research.

For every move E-Z Movers completes, the company donates $2 to the breast cancer organization. Additionally, the moving company donates moving services for the Susan G. Komen Chicagoland Race for the Cure® annually. The services and cash donated by E-Z Movers totaled over $20,000 in 2011.

A long-time supporter of Komen Chicago, the trucks of E-Z Movers of Chicago are noticeably different than other moving companies: they’re pink to represent the company’s commitment to the cause of finding a cure for breast cancer.
