Crowdzu co-founders, McGovern, Michael Helman and Michal Grzegorczyk, felt that the currently available rewards-based all-or-nothing and high-fee flexible payout models could be improved upon in a way that was friendlier toward both campaign creators and their supporters. Unlike other sites, Crowdzu’s platform requires a campaign to raise only 50% of its fundraising goal to get funded, and rewards campaigns for their success rather than penalizing low yields with high fees. Helman noted, “Supporters will know that lower commissions and transaction fees mean that more of their contributions will actually go to fund the campaigns.”
Grzegorczyk who is also the company CTO set out to create a robust and fully scalable cloud-based platform. The website features his signature minimalist approach to design, while providing the user with a very intuitive interface. “We use what the cloud has to offer for all of the moving parts of the site, which allows us to respond quickly to changes, scale rapidly and reduce operating costs. We apply a similar philosophy to the user experience, constantly evolving based on feedback we get from our early adopters.”
Crowdzu.com helps raise funds for creative, entrepreneurial and socially conscious projects. Our global platform allows for the launch and funding of campaigns from anywhere in the world. Crowdzu further differentiates itself by providing a simple pre-approval process, and lower commissions and third-party fees allow campaigners to keep more of the money they work so hard to raise.
