Jul. 9, 2012 - A South Florida tradition continues as Annual Art Fest @ Doral will transform the Carlos Albizu University into an artists’ gallery. This year’s annual event will showcase the works of over 100 artists from several states and foreign countries, from October 19, 20& 21st, 2012. Carlos Albizu University is located in the heart of the City of Doral at 2173 NW 99th Avenue, Doral, Fla. 33172. This year’s selection of artists will chose from dozens who will submit samples in mixed media, painting, photography, digital art, printmaking & drawing, watercolor, clay work, glass, fiber, jewelry & metalwork, sculpture and wood. Artists will exhibit and sell one-of-a-kind and limited edition works of art, covering a broad spectrum of creativity While art enthusiasts, collectors and casual observers explore the exhibits, youngsters have the opportunity to create their own works of art and take free classes with known artists and teachers and have fun in the process. The Annual Art Fest @ Doral is presented by the Rotary Club of Doral, an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Proceeds from the annual event help to fund year-round arts programs and benefit PTA's of the local public participating schools as well as other charitable causes related to the welfare of children in several orphanages in Central America. The Annual Art Fest @ Doral presented by Rotary Club of Doral will be held October 19, 20 & 21st, 2012. Festival hours will be Friday 6pm to 10pm. Saturday 9 am to 11 pm., and Sunday 10am to 6pm. General Admission to the Art Fest is FREE.
