Although Dolly is known to those who love her most as the Dolly Momma, autographing guitars is a rarity. The music world connection to Dolly Parton is through Patty Clark’s husband, Zeke Clark, the sound and equipment genius who is on tour with Kenny Chesney. Zeke purchased an Epiphone guitar and made the request for Dolly’s autograph on behalf of ESEP and his wife, Patty.
Berks County native, Patty Scoboria Clark, and husband, Zeke, donated a guitar last year for ESEP’s raffle. That guitar was autographed by Kenny Chesney, The Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker and Billy Currington. The winner was R. Frank Chiappetta of the Lehigh Valley.
The Dolly Parton guitar raffle is scheduled for Wednesday, August 1, 2012. One winner takes the autographed guitar, Dolly’s autographed photo, plus two (2) of Dolly’s CD’s. All proceeds from the raffle benefit Easter Seals Eastern PA.
