SCMC Music Conference & Center Stage comes back to the Nation Capital - Washington DC

July 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington, DC - Songwriters Composer (SCMC) Music Conference and Center Stage is quickly approaching and countless events are being finalized. SCMC Center Stage presents a sampling of songwriters & producers workshops, new panels, concert and more. SCMC takes place Saturday, August 25th in Chevy Chase, MD at the 4H Conference Center.
SCMC has always been about the music and the people who make it happen. This year, the SCMC Music Conference is proud to launch the SCMC Center Stage, an area specifically geared towards musicians. Highlights include songwriter’s clinics by Top music executives from Atlantic Records and Konvict Muzik as well as producer clinics and more. SCMC Center Stage will be located in the main Concert Hall of the 4H Conference Center and will run Saturday, August 25 – Saturday and is open to SCMC registrants and official showcasing artists with wristbands.
There is no shortage of notable speakers on panels this year. Tmah MBAs who is the executive VP of Konvict Muzik and Def Jam Music Group/Bu Vision, talks about the many aspects of artists' brands on the panel. Brian Johnston, from Atlantic Records, will discuss his successful career working with artist from Atlantic Records & Warner Music. Founder and CEO of Keep on Repeat, Chris Patrick, join the panel "Social Music Strategies."  A&R consultant Taira Daniel (Lisa Davis Music Management) will speak about Studio recording. Over 20 panelists are slated to converse and network in the friendly confines of the 4H Conference Center. Registrants and official showcasing artists & producers with wristbands can further conduct business and network at the SCMC Music Conference2012.
