Scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Madinat Jumeirah conference centre, Dubai, UAE, the one day experience is attracting some of the best international speakers in graphic design, film, animation, photography and advertising. The conference aims to underline Dubai's role as the Middle East’s 'melting pot' for regional content creators.
CPI Art Director, Kamil Roxas, who conceived the idea, says: “Every year for the last few years I have travelled to Europe and Asia to attend similar events, in order to keep abreast of the latest thoughts in the creative industries. And then it hit me – why not bring the thought leaders here?
“We believe the Middle East is teeming with talented individuals, full of fiery passion and fresh ideas, waiting to be tapped and shared with the rest of the world. Of course, there is also much to be learned which is why we have invited internationally renowned speakers and companies to join us at this event.”
Featured speakers already include Brand New School, MK12, Hydro74 and Eric Kim.
Dubai-based speakers taking part to date include graphic designer and illustrator Kristy Anne Ligones, and art collective, The Brownmonkeys. Speakers will be delving into a range of topics on ideas, inspiration and all the design that matters to modern day artists in the region.
“Everyone is invited to attend. Whether you are a digital content creator or someone who finds the arts and creative industry fascinating, this is the opportunity to network, learn more and get inspired to open your mind to creative inspiration!
