The "Kutz 4 Kidz" Back to School program is a local event for under-privileged children in our community.
Dream Big in partnership with Albuquerque Police Department will host the event where Children will recieve a free professional haircut , backpack, and school supplies, while interacting & building relationships with the men & women who protect their lives everyday.
But We Need Your Help!
The average cost of school supplies per student in the Greater Albuquerque Area ranges from $35 to well over $100 in some cases! Many children served at this event, have little or no means to return to school with the proper school supplies needed. We want to help the children feel comfortable going back to school.
Last year we were able to provide FREE Haircuts to over 500 youth, sadly we only had enough school supplies for a little over 200 youth.
Our goal for the 2012 Kutz 4 Kidz is to serve 2,500 youth with both haircuts, backpacks, and school supplies!
Your donations will help offset the cost of the event & buy school supplies.
