Tucson, AZ – Royal is committed to helping Tucson’s pet population during their summer-long event “Dog Days of Summer”. Every day between now and August 18th, Royal is holding a donation drive to benefit the Humane Society and Pima Animal Control and will be collecting much-needed new or used dog toys, blankets or unwrapped treats at every Royal Automotive and Lexus of Tucson location. Additionally, for the duration of “Dog Days of Summer,” Royal Buick GMC Cadillac customers who bring their dog to visit their pet friendly service department will receive a 10% discount, up to $40, on most vehicle services.
Royal will conclude “Dog Days of Summer” with its 3rd annual Dog Adoption Event on August 18th. On that day from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Royal Buick GMC Cadillac will be sponsoring free pet adoptions at their location in the Tucson Auto Mall. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Control will bring in dogs available for adoption, and Royal Automotive Group will be sponsoring all adoption fees. Marketing Intern, Shauna Williams hopes, “to build on the success of last year’s event which helped 37 dogs find new homes. We are looking to help raise awareness again this year for Tucson animals.”
In addition to pet adoptions, the Dog Adoption Event at Royal Buick GMC Cadillac will have free dog portraits, free BBQ and various booths featuring local pet boutiques and pet stores in the main lobby. Williams advises, “Plan on visiting early, as there will be a limited number of dogs, and adoptions will go quick!”
