John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio Hosts Fundraising Reception for Ann Johnson

July 6, 2012 - PRLog -- On the evening of Tuesday, June 26, 2012, Artist John Ross Palmer and his husband Attorney Ryan Lindsay hosted a fundraising reception for Democratic Candidate for Texas House District 134, Ann Johnson, at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio.  The event was a tremendous success with many art collectors, friends and supporters from across party lines in attendance and eager to learn more about Ann Johnson's views on the important issues facing our State and the constituents in District 134.  The reception fell just on the heels of the Victory Fund & Institute's endorsement of Johnson--a tremendous honor for her and boost for her campaign.

"We are supporting Ann because we believe she is the best and most-qualified candidate, but, also because she is our friend and the life partner of 2012 Escapist Artist Sonya Cuellar," said Ryan Lindsay, Gallery Co-Owner.  Artist John Ross Palmer added, "We are so excited for our friend Ann Johnson and were thrilled to hold this event--allowing new supporters to meet with her and hear about her tremendous qualifications for the seat."  Ann Johnson was flattered that the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio wanted to assist her in her race for Office saying, "John and Ryan have been such great supporters of my campaign and after hearing the news of my recent endorsement by The Victory Fund & Institute I couldn't wait to celebrate at their beautiful home and art gallery.  I am blessed to have them as allies and can't thank them enough for their endorsement."
