TEMPE, Ariz. – June 8, 2012 – Goettl Air Conditioning, one of the country’s pioneers in air conditioning and heating, has hired Robert Glassick, who assumes the general manager position at Goettl Air Conditioning, a flagship HVAC company under the American Residential Services, L.L.C umbrella.  Previously, Glassick was a district manager at Service Experts, an HVAC service and repair company that is part of Lennox International Inc.

Goettl sought Glassick for his twelve years of experience and success in the HVAC industry. While at Service Experts, Glassick’s mid-Atlantic and Western US teams were both recognized as “District of the Year.”  Now with Goettl, he plans to focus on and improve customer service while leveraging the strength of the 73-year-old brand to make Goettl the most respected and successful HVAC company in Arizona.  He also plans on building and developing additional technical training programs for the teams at Goettl; a program that has been in place to ensure quality control for Goettl customers. Glassick will manage over 70 employees in his new position.

“I believe strongly in having a work hard, work smart, have fun culture,” says Glassick. “I enjoy helping others develop their own leadership skills and seeing them achieve their goals.”

Glassick will report directly to Joe Brown, the ARS/Rescue Rooter, Arizona Region Vice President. Brown has high expectations of the new Goettl general manager and sees the location becoming even more profitable with the implementation of Glassick’s new programs.

Glassick received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond in Virginia and went on to receive his Master’s in Business Administration from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He started his career in the commercial lending department at the United Virginia Bank, also in Richmond.

Glassick knew that he wanted to work for Goettl when he met Ken Goodrich, ARS Western Zone President.

“I was impressed and inspired by Ken’s leadership qualities, business success and vision for the future of Goettl,” says Glassick.

Glassick and his family reside in Goodyear, Ariz. In his spare time he attends Christ Community United Methodist Church and enjoys playing golf and hiking.
