Mosaic I, Exploring Mosaic Art, Weekend workshops 7/21-7/22 & 8/4-8/5

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Charlotte area mosaic artist Carol Turtness Newman will share her experience and love for mosaic art with the novice mosaic art student.  In this class, the student artist will create a 5”x5” or 6”x6” mosaic using cut glass tile and other materials. The student artist will become familiar with cutting tile, adhesive and grouting (optional) using pre-designed templates.  This class is designed for adults and teen-age art enthusiasts.

Can be messy…wear appropriate clothing!  Bring a sack lunch or money for a lunch break.  Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Cost:  $75.00 Member, $85.00 Nonmember; + $10 materials
