Before the game kicks off at 7 p.m. with the Madison Mallards playing against the Rapids Rafters at “Duck Pond” field, a PODS® container will be placed outside the main entrance. Baseball fans are encouraged to donate one of more pairs of adult or children’s shoes for Soles for Souls before and after the game. In return, donators will receive a coupon to use at The Shoe Box store. Following the game, PODS Wisconsin will then send the donated shoes to a center in Brookfield, Wis., where they will be given to a loving adult and child.
“PODS Wisconsin is honored to be teaming up with the Madison Mallards and The Shoe Box to collect many shoes for Soles for Souls,” said John Hudson, manager of PODS Wisconsin. “With the public’s help, this drive will help put on a nice pair of shoes on an adult and child.”
