Renzo Charlez and YO!Special K "Bring It On Home"

LOUISVILLE, July 12, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Kevin 'YO Special K', has channeled what others might look upon as a disability, into his strength and is currently pursuing a record deal as a hip-hop artist. Kevin is a member at Down Syndrome of Louisville (DSL) and participates in educational programing at the New Lifelong Learning Center. DSL’s, Michelle Bourke and Matt Kubancik, Owner of Street Moda, an independent company founded in the streets of the 502, facilitated the collaboration between Kevin and the Louisville hip hop artist and KFC Pride 360 Hitmaker, Renzo Charlez.

Charlez has a passion for volunteerism and set-out to essentially make Kevin’s ‘dream’ a reality. Through his passion and knowledge for music Charlez was able to coach Kevin, produce, and record a new hit song and film a new music video.

Many Louisville Entertainment Icons stepped up to make this dream a reality; Frank Miller, from Ohio Valley Wrestling graciously provided access to his facility and offered his wrestling skills; Antiono Pantoja of Eye Candy Films Louisville, filmed and edited the video masterpiece; Buffalo Stille of Nappy Roots and D.J. B-Rite of Coast to Coast DJs made Guest Appearances ... Kevin ‘YO Special K’ Sisson, was greeted with open arms into a mash of Louisville entertainment and business geniuses and he will have the hit song and film to remember it for a life time.
