TMA Resources Social Responsibility Efforts Motivate Other Organizations to Give Back

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Social responsibility is an integral part of the culture at TMA Resources, a provider of association management software.  What started as a small group of TMA Resources employees with a desire to help others has evolved into more than $55,000.00 raised for Autism Speaks, tens-of-thousands of pounds of food for the Capital Area Food Bank and hundreds of toys and winter accessories donated to organizations that help children during the December holidays.  TMA Resources successes have inspired other organizations in the association industry to take note and more importantly take action.


In October, 2011 both their partners and clients joined TMA Resources staff in running the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon to raise money for Autism Speaks.  Most recently Parature, a global leader in cloud-based customer engagement software, joined TMA Resources in collecting food for DelCor’s 10th Annual .org Community Food Drive for the Capital Area Food Bank.

Parature’s Co-founder, Duke Chung states, “We were inspired by how committed TMA Resources staff are to donating both their time and finances to benefit the community at large.  We called them for suggestions on setting up our own social responsibility efforts and they pointed us to the upcoming food drive to support the Capital Area Food Bank drive, a great event that we were excited to participate in with TMA Resources.”

Together TMA Resources and Parature’s donations added up to close to 12,000 meals for the largest, public nonprofit hunger and nutrition education resource in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

TMA Resources, Director of Human Resources, Wendi Mink stated, “We are extremely proud of the tremendous success we’ve had with all of our social responsibility efforts.  Now other organizations are not only taking notice, but instituting ways to encourage their own employees to give back.  The sky is the limit on what TMA Resources, Parature and other organizations can do to help those in need.”
