Leading commercial lawyer shows Shropshire businesses how to resolve disputes

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Telford, Shropshire, UK: A presentation given to Shropshire businesses on the 26th April by one of the UK’s toughest talking commercial barristers was a huge success as local businesses packed out the offices of the hosting Telford legal firm Martin Kaye LLP. Open to both members and non-members of Telford Business Partnership, it was one of a series of events organised to share topical business tips with businesses across the local area.

The seminar, entitled “The Techniques of Persuasion” was delivered by Mohammed Zaman QC, a high profile advocate who is one of the UK’s leading commercial silks and who is renowned for his intimidating cross examination skills. The aim of the seminar was to help businesses learn how to resolve disputes with effective negotiating skills.

Senior partner of Martin Kaye and Chairman of the Telford Business Partnership, Graham Davies, said: “In the current business climate, disputes almost seem inevitable – whether it’s contracts, price, quality, or performance, there are all kinds of flashpoints which can cause trouble.
