“SouthPack's ability to help customers through many challenges is what separates us from many of our competitors,”
With full service contract packaging all under one roof, SouthPack produces blisters, clamshells, cosmetic packaging, electronics packaging, full turnkey packaging, food packaging, medical packaging, shrink wrapping, sustainable packaging and more. Assembly, distribution, labeling, package design services and warehousing round out the list of services, which also includes total project management along the way.
“Since we offer so many services under one roof, our customers today might require a clamshell for one retailer and a blister or poly bag for another. With the ability to be a one stop shop, we can service our customers’ needs. They deliver their product to us, and then we can design, produce the packaging, assemble the packaging, erect the displays and coordinate the transportation to arrive direct to the store,” he said.
Mogielnicki says the company’s tenth anniversary, celebrated in April, was monumental because the business has been able to outlast two major recessions.
“We started the company right after 9/11 and this recession took away a lot of contract packaging customers as they downsized or saw their market share decrease,” he said.
While Southpack employees pride themselves on providing large thermoforming
capabilities, competitive prices and quick turnaround for delivery, customer satisfaction is also something that sets them apart from other businesses in the industry.
“We take great pride in what we do and understand that this industry can be challenging at times in meeting customer demands,” Mogielnicki said. “We are constantly striving to reach that next level in everything that we do here.”
Flexible and adaptable, Mogielnicki says the company is also environmentally conscious and proactive.
“We understand the needs of the customer and the availability of options that we can bring to the table,” he said. “We offer many options to the customer to meet their environmental needs. In house, we recycle all non contaminated plastic and paper products. We take great pride in making a difference for our children's future.”
