Effective the date of this release, Hunting 4 Hope has been approved by Guinness World Records © to carry out efforts to break the current record for World’s Longest Bra Chain. The present record was set on August 9th, 2009 by the Australian civic group Citizens Who Care. Their chain measured 101.7 miles in length and contained 166,625 bras.
Hunting 4 Hope is now collecting bras, along with a one dollar contribution to our foundation for each bra. They can be mailed to 95 Maple Avenue, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 and please put them to the attention of Bras for a Cause. Contributions can be made in the form of cash, check, money order, or credit card. Although we don’t encourage the mailing of cash you may deliver your payments to our office located at the address listed above. If you are interested in making a credit card contribution you may do so by calling our office at (570) 798-7625 and a member of our team will be glad to assist you. We will be collecting bras until September 30th, 2013. On October 5th, 2013 to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month, we will begin the assembly of the chain along with having fun, games, entertainment and food!
