Introducing Hemp Lacrosse Mesh

A company has introduced a new lacrosse mesh, made out of hemp. It is an innovative product promoting hemp as an alternative to petroleum based mesh.

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports, and hemp is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. Hemp is illegal in the US to grow, so high quality hemp cord is imported into the US from Romania, and used to make these lacrosse mesh stringing kits. The kits are netted by hand. They are sold as soft mesh, or dipped in beeswax and sold as hard mesh.

Netting each piece individually has many advantages over factory made pieces. For example, the crafter can make each piece custom tailored so that the pocket is in the right place, and even make a built in pocket so that the player does not need to break in the mesh, which is a very tedious process. Hemp is already “broken in” - meaning that the stick will perform immediately as long as the stick stringer is skilled.
