Lee & Associates Oakland Closes $5 Million Industrial Warehouse Sale

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Lee & Associates, one of the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firms in the country, has closed a $5 million industrial sale in Union City, Calif.
           
Jesse Lucas and Craig Hagglund of Lee & Associates Oakland office represented the seller, Golden Apple, a provider of after-market car parts, in this transaction. Bob Ferraro and David Black of CBRE represented the buyer, Coastal Tropical of South San Francisco, a major wholesaler of fruits and vegetables in the U.S. and Mexico.
           
Coastal Tropical purchased the +-60,000-square-foot warehouse facility located at 2975 Volpey Way from Golden Apple. The seller will vacate and relocate one block away to a 38,800-square-foot warehouse which they have leased for three years from Prologis.
           
The building is a concrete tilt up, has a 24-foot clear height, dock high loading and sits on a prominent corner in the Alvarado Business Park.
