The CLASSY Awards is the largest philanthropic awards ceremony in the country, celebrating the greatest charitable achievements by nonprofit organizations, socially conscious businesses, and individuals worldwide. Some of the most celebrated charitable organizations have been part of StayClassy awards. Past winners include, Charity Water, Restore NYC, Invisible Children, and Alex’s Lemonade Stand. This year, Lifestyle + Charity is up against some of the most amazing socially conscious businesses, such as Charitybuzz, Jetblue Airways, Catchafire, and more. “Hollywood has Oscar, Broadway has Tony, and now Philanthropy has the Classys” – AOL.
In order to be considered for this award, each business must successfully demonstrate its commitment to using the company’s position, resources, and influence in service of broader philanthropic aims and best exemplifies a devotion to bettering lives in its community. The L+C team is dedicated to this mission and they ask that you join its efforts by joining them in public voting on July 9th, pending L+C Magazine has the opportunity to move onto the National judging round.
By receiving the Best Philanthropic Business of the Year award, this will give L+C a chance to cover MORE philanthropic culture – charities, socially conscious businesses, inspiring people and stories, industry trends and events. This award will give L+C a larger platform to collaborate with even more philanthropic trailblazers;
