Nicky Oliver congratulates Lauren Colley
Lauren, from Cranage near Crewe, has been studying at Nicky Oliver’s Hair Academy in the Northern Quarter in Manchester for the last four months and has amazed herself as well as her family and friends with her dedication and commitment.
“When I was at high school, I hated the strictness and being treated like a child,” said Lauren.
“However I left school with good GCSE grades and my family were really pleased when I found Nicky’s Academy on the web and enrolled for the course as I had always wanted to become a hairdresser. Many friends said hairdressing was just for ‘drop-outs’
“I am now going to look for a job in a salon nearer to home but who knows I may well go back to the Nicky Oliver Hair Academy in the future to gain more qualifications!”
Nicky Oliver said “I have been delighted with Lauren’s enthusiasm and progress. She is on the way to becoming an exceptional stylist and I really hope that she comes back for more advanced training. She was a pleasure to teach and I really wish her good luck for the future and of course a very Happy 18th Birthday!”
