Call for Artists: 5th Annual Non-Juried All Artist Members Show of Shows Exhibition

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- July 3, 2012 (Naples, Fla.) Registrations are now being accepted for The 5th Annual Non-Juried All Artist Members Show of Shows Exhibition. The registration deadline is 3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 1. Artwork in all media will be on display in the von Liebig Art Center from Aug. 27 through Oct. 6, 2012.

There is no jury process. Member artists simply register an artwork and bring it during one of the scheduled receiving days. There is a $35 entry fee; artists may become members at the time of entry. See full prospectus for more details and registration information (http://naplesart.org/callforartists). Artwork will be displayed in the Frederick O. Watson Gallery. If additional space is required, artwork will also be displayed in other galleries throughout The von Liebig Art Center on the first and second levels.

All artists included in the Show of Shows will be listed on the Naples Art Association’s website beginning Monday, Aug. 6. A preview reception will be held on Friday, Aug. 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There are two People’s Choice cash awards ($200 Best of Show and $100 First Place). Everyone attending the preview reception will have the opportunity to cast one vote in the People’s Choice election. Voting will be overseen by the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office.

Award winners will be announced on the Naples Art Association’s website on Aug. 31. Each person who is present during the reception is entitled to cast one vote (one vote per person only). Exhibiting artists may vote and may bring one non-member guest free of charge to the reception. All other non-members guests are welcome at $10 per person.

Artists may hand deliver their artwork through the Receiving Room Entrance (North Entrance) into The von Liebig Art Center on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, 3:30 - 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 14, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Artists who are not able to deliver or pick up their artwork may arrange to have it shipped to and/or from The von Liebig Art Center.
