FashInvest Announces Management Expansion

The popular and highly-trafficked FashInvest blog is ramping up its editorial outreach with curated content; exclusive interviews with top fashion and venture executives, as well as, daily news and updates from the business of fashion.  

The blog initiatives will be spearheaded by Lolita Alford, the newly appointed Director of Editorial Content & Outreach. With over five years domestic and international experience in visual merchandising and design, Alford holds a BFA in Fashion Design & Marketing and a MBA in Entrepreneurship.  Along with Alford, FashInvest adds five full-time bloggers to the staff.

FashInvest Chairman David J. Freschman, one of the leading venture capitalists and emerging business experts on the East Coast, will immediately assume the role of CEO for the organization.

FashInvest is actively planning its 3rd annual Capital Growth Conference to be held the first week of December in New York City.  The 2012 conference will solidify FashInvest as the leader in the capital growth arena for the Fashion Tech, Fashion, Branded Goods & Retail entrepreneurial industries.

The 2011 FashInvest Capital Growth Conference featured Gilt Groupe CEO Kevin Ryan as the keynote speaker, along with spotlighting 20 of the most innovative emerging businesses in the Fashion industry.

Karen Griffith Gryga, the former FashInvest CEO, will remain an active FashInvest board member.
