Archetype Inc Team in Tigard, OR Donates Time to People of Purpose and Associates Event for 3rd Year

July 2, 2012 - PRLog -- The Archetype team is participating in the People of Purpose & Associates annual philanthropy once again this July 21st.  The team has enjoyed being a part of this organization and helping them to make an impact on the community.  "It has become a tradition that we've grown to really like," says Assistant Manager Courtney Brewington.  This will be the third year they are involved with this organization. The day of events usually begins with some breakfast and good humored instructions on how to clean up the neighborhood. Some of the team is then allocated to retilling the soil, while others are cleaning up the area around Jefferson High School.  

After the clean up there is a basketball tournament, food and refreshments, and live entertainment.  This year they plan on adding to their contribution by offering something creative and fun for the kids to enjoy.  

"At the end of the day, it is all about how everyone feels.  We want everyone to feel like their time was put toward something positive and has made a direct on impact on how one child may feel about themselves or how the neighborhood feels about the comunity they live in. It is our value that every interaction be a positive one.  Every person we meet we hope to leave feeling better than they did before they met us.  This value we hold both in and out of business," states President Melissa White.

Everyone looks forward to this day as a fun team building experience and a great way to be involved in the community.
