PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 2, 2012 - Welwyn Garden City (Hertfordshire, UK) resident and author K J Bennett is pleased to announce the release of his comedic/fantasy novel, Pike’s Quest, in paperback format. The Kindle e-book version has so far proven to be popular with readers of all ages and has received a number of glowing reviews on the Amazon UK and US websites.
K J Bennett is currently working on the sequel - Pike’s ReQuest - and will soon be releasing his adult thriller, Rathbone Kydd.
“Pike is a fun read for almost everyone and appeals to people who liked ‘Shrek’ or Jonathan Stroud’s ‘Bartemaeus’ series of books,” said K J Bennett. “The story is strong enough for a viable sequel and I hope to release it in late 2012. However, I don’t want to be labelled in one particular genre, and my next release, Rathbone Kydd, is aimed at an entirely adult readership. The benefits of being independent of a major publishing house are that I can switch genre and write wide-ranging books.”
