Attorney Scott A. Selis Selected as Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award Recipient
Palm Coast, FL – Chiumento Selis Dwyer P.L. is proud to announce that the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar has recognized Scott Selis’ public service to the elderly.
Selis was awarded the "Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award". The award is given annually to the Florida Elder Law Attorney whose volunteerism significantly helps the elderly. Selis was selected due to his efforts as legislative chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section. He was credited with keeping the issues affecting Florida's elderly and disabled in front of the public and the legislature in a year when advocating for the health, welfare and safety of the Florida's most vulnerable was the most difficult position to advocate, according to the incoming chair of the Section.
Charlotte Brayer was an accomplished individual that went to law school at 64 years of age. After graduating, she largely donated time to help the elderly.
“I’m honored to receive this award that is named after such an inspirational icon,” says Selis. “I am passionate about volunteering to help the elderly in our community,” Selis added.
