Quick Chek Festival of Ballooning
The 30th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank will be held from July 27-July 29, 2012 in Readington, New Jersey.
This three-day extravaganza is one of the premier family entertainment events in the Northeast, featuring the awe-inspiring spectacle of more than 100 giant hot air balloons taking to the skies over three days.
The Festival offers live concerts from Grammy Award winning artists; fireworks; a nighttime hot air balloon glow; a 5K Race and Family Fun Run; family-oriented entertainment and interactive activities; and provides numerous selling and product sampling opportunities.

Black Potatoe Music Festival in Clinton
The Black Potatoe Music Festival will be held in Clinton, New Jersey from July 12th-July 15th, 2012. This is one of the nation's oldest independent music festivals and will feature bands from all over the world performing at various locations in Clinton throughout the four-day festival.
New Jersey's own Smithereens will be featured on Saturday evening.
Public transportation is available to Clinton, NJ via Trans Bridge Bus Lines. New Jersey Transit trains do travel to the nearby towns of High Bridge, Annandale, Lebanon and Whitehouse, however they do not run as frequently as the bus. There is no taxi service in the area.
Clinton is located about 45 minutes due west of Newark Liberty International Airport for those flying in for the fest.

TD Bank 2012 Summer Concert Series in Mahwah
It wouldn't be summer in Bergen County without the annual TD Bank Summer Concert Series in Mahwah!
The Ramapo College Foundation will host concerts on four Thursday evenings beginning July 12, 2012 and families from across the region will listen to great music on the band shell lawn. The Summer Concert Series provides an opportunity for the College to welcome the community.
Following the first concert on July 12th, Ramapo College will host a fireworks display by Garden State Fireworks at 9:30 pm Fireworks rain date is July 19th.
Every concert begins at 8:00 pm at the Ramapo College Band Shell. Admission is free. Parking is $5 / vehicle. Concert goers are encouraged to pack a picnic dinner, chairs and blankets and to bring their friends for a community night out! In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Bradley Center Arena.

July 26 - UNCHAINED Van Halen Tribute Formed in 1998, UNCHAINED quickly became recognized as the premier Van Halen tribute band. They have played top venues throughout the country and their music will rock the College’s Bandshell.
August 2 - The B Street Band A Tribute to the Boss The original Springsteen Tribute band, their authenticity has earned the respect and reputation of the music industry. From the early days of “The Boss” to today, they encompass it all.
