June 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA - Kim Yarbrough, featured Contestant on The Voice, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera fought over her, but it was Adam Team that was her final decision. Kim says: “Something that Adam said during my blind audition just resonated with me”.  Kim gained National attention on the show and she is currently working on her new CD being Produced by Rick Gianatos of NU and Improved Records. Kim is soon to release her new single “Brand New Day”, also featuring "After Dark" singer Pattie Brooks and Charlo Crossley Fortier.  The trio is officially called “Divas Deluxe”, founded by Gianatos.  The official guest lineup on the tour TBA with surprise celebrity guests.

Kim has performed with Stevie Wonder, Katie Sagal (she is a regular vocalist on all 4 seasons of the Sons of Anarchy Soundtrack), was featured in her own show called “Della Reese Presents Kim Yarbrough”, and has acted in TV Shows such as Bones, Dexter & Conan O’Brien.

Her vocal prowess has been compared to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Nancy Wilson and Barbara Streisand. Her latest comparison is "Jennifer Hudson meets Chaka Khan". She dominates every element - stage, film, recordings. Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph has dubbed her "Little Aretha," Teena Marie has labeled her voice as "The Truth," and legendary singer/actress, Della Reese is quoted as saying, "You owe it to yourself to see Kim Yarbrough."

She made LA her home nearly a decade ago, and since arriving in Southern California has enjoyed a dazzling career, holding her own alongside international artists and celebrities: Jim Belushi, Katy Segal, Loretta Devine, James Blunt, Mo'Nique, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lalah Hathaway, Macy Gray, Freda Payne, Allyson Williams, Jackeé, the late Fred Travalena.

Kim has garnered national attention in commercials, television, motion pictures, radio and indie films. She recently made a guest starring appearance as an actress on the new Nick at Nite television series "Hollywood Heights".

Film making and writing her own original R&B, Gospel and Jazz songs are two more areas of genius for this exceptional artist. Kim has released two CDs: a single, "Nice and Slow" and "Dharma 888," an EP of inspirational songs, including "Road to Freedom," inspired by and written for the motion picture, "The Great Debaters."
