OnRamp Transportation Services Announces New President

June 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Salt Lake City, UT – June 27, 2012   OnRamp Transportation Services, the national equipment leasing, sales and contractor services company, announces the promotion of Spencer Angerbauer to the role of President. Mr. Angerbauer is a 14-year veteran of multiple industries, including transportation, technology, commercial real estate and property management.

Mr. Angerbauer began his tenure at OnRamp as President of EQUINOX Owner-Operator Solutions in 2009. EQUINOX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of OnRamp that markets technology-driven business services to independent contractors and owner-operators in the truckload, less-than-truckload, and courier transportation industries. Mr. Angerbauer focused his tenure at EQUINOX on the integration of technology and business services, and reinvented EQUINOX from a company that delivered bookkeeping and tax preparation services through traditional, manual means to a technology-driven company that automates and lowers the cost of traditional bookkeeping, tax and consulting services.

As President of OnRamp Transportation Services, Mr. Angerbauer intends to keep OnRamp and its subsidiary companies on a path to growth. “The transportation industry is still recovering from the recession,” said Mr. Angerbauer, “so our intent will be to position our products and services according to how they were built; that is, focused on lowering the cost of acquiring equipment and running an independent transportation business.” These products and services include OnRamp’s unique sub-lease tractor option, trailer leasing, parts and services locations throughout the Intermountain West and Midwest, and technology-driven business services. Prior to joining EQUINOX and OnRamp, Mr. Angerbauer was an accomplished executive with over 14 years in sales, marketing, and operational management in multiple market segments including transportation, technology, and the real estate. Mr. Angerbauer’s specific expertise includes managing and growing mid-size to enterprise level businesses through technology improvement initiatives, strategic business plan creation and implementation, and the ability to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses. Mr. Angerbauer’s roots in the transportation industry stem from years of experience in consulting for many well-known transportation organizations including Sinclair Oil, Flying J, UW Freight, and Kelly’s Transport, among others. Mr. Angerbauer holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Utah.
