BKD Promotes Stephanie Hurt to Managing Advisor

June 27, 2012 - PRLog -- SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Jack Thurman, president of  BKD Wealth Advisors, LLC, announces the promotion of Stephanie Hurt to managing advisor.  Hurt delivers unmatched client service, embraces change and shows dedication to the firm’s values and the accounting industry.  She assumed the new role on June 1, 2012.

Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience.  Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members.  Individuals become candidates for promotion after successfully mastering their existing level.

Hurt has been a part of the investment industry since 2002, managing portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, trusts and corporations. In addition to working with individual clients, she also serves on the BKD Wealth Advisors Investment Committee.
 
She is summa cum laude graduate of the honors college at Missouri State University, Springfield, with a B.S. degree in finance.
