Davis, who founded his new firm in May of this year, is a recruitment industry veteran who previously headed the Washington D.C. and Boston-based east coast offices of a national search firm. He is a recognized leader in organization building and business transformations, addressing the toughest business challenges to family-owned, privately-held, publicly-traded and not-for-profit organizations. He has worked with businesses in initiating aggressive talent and organization strategies, resulting in significantly improve corporate results - an expertise that he brings to his executive search practice and clients.
His experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President / Chief Human Resources Officer for the American National Red Cross in Washington, D.C.; corporate vice president for the publicly traded Huffy Corporation and its portfolio of consumer products and business services companies; and as an executive for three smaller companies under common investor ownership.
The Cornell University graduate also served in a number of managerial roles for the power generation businesses of the General Electric Company.
In addition to the Board of Directors of XPX, he serves as interim board chair for the Rhode Island Chapter of the Red Cross. His previous service includes the boards of the Human Resources Leadership Forum (Washington, DC), the Center for Non-Profit Resources (Ohio); and, Co-Chairman for the Rhode Island Governor’s Healthcare Reform Commission and on Rhode Island’s Special Commission on State Employee Pensions.
