June 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Terrariums, like all things retro, are back with a modern twist! Also known as miniscapes (modern, living sculptures) terrariums are more than just simple glass containers that display soil and plants, and on July 30th, 2012 the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) will prove just that at their brand new class, “The Littlest Landscapes: DIY Terrariums.” From 6:00PM to 8:00PM terrarium pros Phillip Saul, proprietor of Sault New England, and Harvard trained Landscape Architect, Matt Gillen, will teach students how to create their very own customized mini-eco systems in this hands-on class.

Saul and Gillen will show students how the choice of plant, the placement of hard materials and additional props can give terrarium creations a fun, quirky and personal edge, and students will learn how to bring a whole new dimension to any home or work space. By the end of the class students will not only have developed their green thumbs, but will have discovered a novel way to grow budget-friendly, low maintenance plants all in the form of a perfect, personalized tabletop garden.
