XYIENCE Athlete Media Conference on Friday, July 6, 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 27, 2012 - LAS VEGAS - XYIENCE Xenergy, the official energy drink of the UFC ®, will host a media conference with a panel of its athletes at the UFC Fan Expo® on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 8 a.m. PT in the South Pacific Ballroom Section C at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. XYIENCE team athlete’s Jon Jones, Frank Mir, Dan Hardy, Anthony Pettis and Matt Serra will answer questions until 8:45 a.m.

Current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will discuss his upcoming bout with Dan Henderson at UFC® 151: Jones vs. Henderson.  Other XYIENCE athletes available to answer questions include former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, Dan Hardy, Anthony Pettis, and former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra. XYIENCE team athlete Mike Escamilla, BMX rider and host of FUEL TV’s “Strangers in Danger,” will host the discussion.

XYIENCE will also unveil a major North American promotion that will kick off on Friday, July 6 and an exclusive MMA industry event that’s slated for Friday, August 31 in downtown Las Vegas. The event will coincide with UFC® 151: Jones vs. Henderson that will be held at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.  

Following the press conference, the XYIENCE media room will be available to journalists as a workspace until 10:30 a.m.  Food and beverages will be served starting at 7:30 a.m.

XYIENCE models Amber Nichole and Amanda Corey will also be available for interviews and photos.
