Popcorn, hard candy, tortilla chips, caramel, gum, and bagels—all foods you must avoid with braces. You also have to brush more often if you are eating sweets, as the sugar could get stuck behind your braces and cause tooth decay. Invisalign trays are removable, so you can eat whatever you want whenever you want.  You do not have to worry about food getting stuck in your Invisalign trays, and you can easily remove and clean them.

5.   Convenient.
With braces, you have to change your rubber bands regularly. You also have to regularly check your braces for loose or broken parts and schedule frequent follow up appointments. In contrast, Invisalign is relatively hassle free. You only come in for checkups every 4-6 weeks, and you do not have to worry about replacing rubber bands or checking for broken wires. The convenience of being able to brush and floss your teeth as you normally would is also a plus—braces require you to be extra careful when it comes to maintaining dental hygiene.
