Newcastle Distributors Annual Commodity Webinars

June 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Newcastle Distributors has been synonymous with the commodity markets since 2005. Our Privileged Client Services (PCS) department serves individuals wishing to access the world’s financial and commodity markets, both over the telephone and via ARCH, our multi-instrument electronic trading platform.

The commodity sector has been explosive over the last few years and has had a significant impact on all markets. It is important that all traders have the tools available to enable them to make good trading decisions and the seminars are designed from an educational perspective to provide valuable information to individual investors about how to trade futures and gain exposure to the commodity markets.

We are delighted to launch a new series of commodity-based webinars designed with the private investor in mind. Chief trading adviser and financial educator, Mr. Edward Lucas, is offering to provide some insights via live web-streaming from our Newcastle (U.K.) office from July to September 2012.

Entitled "Bolts and Nuts of Trading Commodities", Mr. Lucas aims to provide an insight into commodity trading, dealing with some of the key issues facing the individual investor, to anything from cattle to coal, and wheat to gold.

Each webinar will concentrate on a different commodity sectors and will begin with a presentation on Trading Futures and Options which will include:

•   The evolution of the futures market
•   How and why we use futures
•   Hedging and speculation
•   The role of the exchange
•   Exposure and risk
•   Outrights and spreads
•   Delivery and settlement

The commodity specific segments will include market information and product specifications, as well as discussion on the fundamental and geopolitical factors affecting the sectors and products covered.

The webinars are free of charge to all existing customers. If you are not an existing customer but would like to participate the webinars there will be a charge of £100 + VAT for each webinar, payable upon registration.

We are able to offer discounted rates to those registering for multiple seminars:

X1 seminar £100 + VAT
X2 seminars £150 + VAT (a discounted rate of £50 per seminar)
X3 seminars £225 + VAT (a discounted rate of £75 per seminar)

Cancellation: Charges will be refunded in full only when at least 72 hours notice is given.
