Follow on Google News | 55% of people would fast for a week if the IRS would disappear from their livesSurvey.com conducted a mobile survey to learn more about how people feel about the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) during this time of financial recovery.
By: survey.com Surprisingly to some, 1 out of 6 people have a had a dispute with the IRS about the amount of taxes owed while only about 2% have actually had a lien or levy placed by the IRS. While only one–third of those surveyed said that they have used an IRS Settlement expert/firm to mediate communication, almost 73% of those that did said it was totally worth the service they paid for. Perhaps what is the most telling is that even though 75% of those who had dealings with the IRS rated the experience as uneventful to pleasant, 55% of all those surveyed were ready to fast for a week to be rid of the IRS forever and another 32% said they would consider it. Conclusion? The IRS has improved their relations with the American population, but we still hate them.
