Chicago, Illinois, June 26, 2012 — Author, Genevieve Sipperly, announces the release of her 7th book... Lights, Camera, Wait, What?.
Genevieve is the author of 6 other books as well as, 7 short films and the founder of the Independent Screenwriters online writing company located at: http://theindependentscreenwriters.com/
Genevieve, a resident of Chicago, Il., grew up in Alaska. She's been writing since she was a child and had her first book published when she was only 16 years old.
Genevieve has a BFA (Bachelor in Fine Arts) and while at film school she had the idea of starting a business. As Genevieve recounts it, “One day I was just thinking what a good resource it would be to have scripts for filmmakers to film as well as helpful tips and notes on independent filming all in one place - the book just developed from there.”
From that idea came TheIndependentScreenwriters.com and the book, Lights, Camera, Wait, What? Which is a book of many short films to shoot as well as many other tips, idea and tricks.
The tips are fairly simple and logical, such as: “if you need specific weather effects such as rain and you're in the middle of five weeks of sunny weather, you can create these effects. Rain can be created using water and a tarp, high winds can be created with large fans and moving scenery, and snow can be created with artificial snow. ”
There are also tips for more sophisticated tips also, so whether you're brand new with a camera or you're a regular shooter, there will be something in Lights, Camera, Wait, What? to help you.
