June 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Artist Melissa Ann Lambert is featured on The Wrighter this month as it recognizes the historical sale of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream.”  Kobina Wright’s, The Wrighter, will continue the tribute features until the end of summer 2012.

“My art, whether abstract, figurative, or combinations of both, explores dimensional vibrations through the use of line, color, symbolism and form. Geometry, particle physics, holonomic brain theory, and Jung's theories of synchronicity of the collective unconscious all inform my work.” Lambert writes of her work.

The tribute to “The Scream” on The Wrighter was created in May, after the record breaking auction, featuring two artists per week. Lambert is the eleventh artist featured in the series and shares images of some of her latest work.

When asked about a favorite work of hers, she replied, “It's hard to pick a favorite, because the most recent one I've done always seems to be "the best I've done yet;" however having said that it's a psychological state of mind that I'm in and I immediately lookforward to doing a new piece. I do especially love “Doppelgänger” however, not only because it looks great in a lightbox at 48" square (plans in the future include producing work in LED panels), but also because my boyfriend and I met when he curated the piece into a show.”

Wright, creator, contributor and editor of The Wrighter, is a California native who earned her BA degree in Journalism from the California State University, Fullerton.  She has created several art series, including, “Fractured,”  “Cali Free,” “Eleven Twenty-Three Girl” and most recently, “Kobiphysics” which exhibited at the Huntington Beach Central Library in April 2012.  Wright is also a featured artist on the online gallery, America Fine Art (https://www.americafineart.org/Kobina).

Wright has written several books, including, “50” and “A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime,” the latter includes several of her sketches.  She is also an actress who has performed in theater productions, independent films and commercials.
