London Business School elected to train Oman Oil Company workers

London Business School has won a prestigious contract, which will see the launching of TAKAUF Leadership programme that has been put together to coach talented managers at Oman OIL Company, as well as other managers within the group.

 
PRLog - Jun. 26, 2012 - London Business School has won a prestigious contract, which will see the launching of TAKAUF Leadership programme that has been put together to coach talented managers at Oman OIL Company, as well as other managers within the group. Working together with Oman Oil’s TAKATUF team whose work encourages talent management in the company, London Business School will provide the two-course program over a period of two years.

The school, which is often ranked highly as one of the best in the world, has successfully made a stance in the Middle East with its Dubai Centre which was established five years ago, and currently working with large organisations in the area.

The first part of the programme, ‘Lead With Impact' has been constructed for top level managers, while the second part, ‘Emerging Leaders’ will focus on new and upcoming managers with less managerial experience. The leadership programme will encourage career progression for talented and motivated workers of Oman Oil Company, seeking to grow within the company. The goal is to cultivate a team of highly talented work force packed with entrepreneurial qualities that are fully equipped and capable of unlocking future business opportunities within the organisation.

According to the Head of Human Capital, Oman Oil Company, Khalid Al-Jashmi, “We see our people as the key to our future – not just for our businesses, but for Oman itself. That’s why we are proud to embark on an ambitious long-term leadership development programme with London Business School, which will help us maximise our people’s leadership potential and enable them to become the kind of leaders capable of developing and growing our companies and our region”.

The two-course programme will be taught in Oman and delegates will have the pleasure of being lectured by London Business School’s leading academics, which includes Julian Birkinshaw, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Andrew Scott, Professor of Economics. The School is abundantly affianced in the world of business and confer with leading bodies both in business and government.
