TATOC publishes summer 2012 issue of timeshare magazine, Sharetime

June 26, 2012 - PRLog -- The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees) TATOC has published the summer issue of its Sharetime magazine for all timeshare owners, TATOC members and affiliates.

The 32-page Sharetime magazine is yet again packed with a range of interesting industry and holiday news and stories for timeshare owners, the committees who represent them and industry professionals.

This summer edition includes a detailed review of the presentations from the recent TATOC conference including Macdonald Resort’s Simon Jackson, Diamond Resorts’ Susan Crook and Susana Gomercic, the timeshare crusader Lisa Ann Schreier and keynote speaker Professor Buhalis.  There is also coverage of an industry-first – the question and answer session of the panel of experts by delegates.

One of the main recommendations from the conference was that the industry needs to promote itself better and spread the message that owners are very happy with their timeshare. And Sharetime has listened. Our new “Why I love my timeshare” features stories from four timeshare owners explaining why they bought their timeshare and the many holidays they have enjoyed.

There is the latest news from TATOC including a report on our five new member resorts and accreditation. We also hear from Mark Caldicott from the TATOC helpline who explains TATOC’s ‘three nevers’ when dealing with timeshare companies.

Annette Pisani explains the importance of professional interior design for all resorts, whatever their age or size, and we hear from Peter James who talks about life as a committee member. Timeshare owner John Woodward reports back after trying a holiday in a privately rented villa – and found that timeshare was better.

It is always great to hear the news from other markets and in this issue we hear from Lisa Ann Schreier who gives her views from the US. We also hear from Francis Taylor who gives his advice on how to get the best from a holiday in Australia. We have also included the first part of three-part road trip covering the Gold Coast.

Club La Costa’s Leslie McCann tells us his view of the industry in our regular feature ‘In my view’ and Terry Lee from LiveShareTravel, our conference media partners, also explains why timeshare is such a great holiday secret.

Printed copies of the magazine will also be available this time and distributed to TATOC members, resort managers and affiliates. Additional copies can also be provided for affiliates if they would like to distribute the magazine at their resorts.
