“As English has become a global language, this unique program will help the students to adapt to the global work culture in a better way and gain confidence. Laurus has been assigned with 678 students for this program and we take pride to announce that presently 620 students are undergoing this training. We hope to bring about a sweeping change through this training program”, said Mr. Karthick Murali, Head of Programs at Laurus Edutech.
This is a unique program since typically the ITI’s follow a traditional legacy format of following a core framework of skills development. There is need to also equip the students beyond core employable skills that will assist them in their livelihood. As the Indian economy is opening up for several global opportunities for the Indian skilled workforce, there is need to equip the students with good communication and English speaking and writing ability and this could help them aid in terms of furthering their career prospects. Given this background, this is a great initiative from KVTSDC and is being completely sponsored by KVTSDC and students would be offered this at free of cost.
“ELIP is a program that will ensure that the students get equal opportunity in the global market. In the contemporary world, when English has become the basic language of communication, it has become even more important to train and groom the students to compete and excel in the global market. This can be only achieved if we are armed with good English speaking and communication skills. This 2 month program shall provide the students with the skill of confident communication in English”, said Mr. Srinivas Rao Cheedella, Managing Director at Laurus Edutech.
The programme integrates English and practical on the ground different case studies and help students to position themselves with capabilities to excel on the job and as a livelihood ahead.
