“Pitch Gauge” Mobile App Enables Accurate Roofing Estimates – Without Climbing Roof

Chances are they want to spend as little time as possible on a roof when creating a roofing estimate.  Decreasing the amount of time spent on the roof helps to minimize chances of an accident.  Prolific Methods, LLC developed the “Pitch Gauge” mobile app to do just that.  The users love it- with a 4.5/5.0 user rating overall and 100,000 downloads worldwide; it’s safe to say that they approve of the new innovation!

An Australian architect recently posted on their Facebook wall, “brilliant work.”  Another user posted a review stating, “Pitch Gauge saved my butt plenty of times.”  Typically, when doing an estimate, somebody would need to climb onto the roof and lay a device on the roof to determine the roof’s “pitch.” They then would find the dimensions of the roof and all of this information would go into an equation to find out how many “squares” the roof is, to determine the price to replace.  With the “Pitch Gauge” app, users can determine the “pitch” of a roof using the camera-function that is built-in; this is done safely from the ground using your IPhone, IPad, or any Android!  They then determine the measurements of the roof and plug other numbers into the “square calculator,” which is also built into the app, to determine the roofs “number of squares.” The entire process is very easy and saves a ton of time. Prolific Methods, LLC plans to release their 3.0 version of “Pitch Gauge” this summer which will show off additional innovations to further simplify the roofing industry.
