Introducing a new Interactive Media Interface - Mutha FM, Cape Town's Underground Sound

As an online media platform, Mutha FM interacts with the online community via our website, online radio broadcasts and the TV channel.  This is done from our Live studio using social media networks, chatroom and comment box on the landing page.                                 
                              
MUTHA FM ~ The Next Level…                                 
The new partnership with Dizzisit.tv from Amsterdam now means that Mutha is no longer simply a radio station streaming online, but is now also streaming TV online, making her an online Media Platform.                                 
The station has always been at the forefront of the music scene in South Africa and was the country’s first internet based radio broadcaster, now almost 8 years later she is firmly established as the Underground Sound of Cape Town and the obvious alternative choice to mainstream radio stations.                                 
Because of this new Cape Town – Amsterdam connection, Mutha FM is able to jump forward and use the technology that will only be available in SA within a few years time. This week Mutha has launched her brand new IMI (Interactive Media Interface) to You (the listener/ viewer/end user) this allows anyone to interact with the DJ’s via the real time chat room, leave comments in the comment box and watch the goings on inside the Live Studio from three fully operational mini TV cameras. This is a very handy and inspired addition to the platform she operates on, simply because it gives the artists who perform on the station another medium to exhibit their colorful natures (and some of them are truly colorful), this allows for brand and media partnerships to develop further now that listeners can actually see into the studio as opposed to have to imagine what it looks like. The new interface is very interactive, it allows for the listener to be a part of the show and gives a real chance for people to talk to the guests and ask their heroes or celebrities questions and communicate with them. The IMI is constantly being developed by the team in Amsterdam which promises fantastic features in the near future with social network compatibility.                                 
Mutha Mobi:                                 
The Dizzisit.tv team is also introducing the platform for Smartphone users giving massive scope for the station and the tool to interact from almost anywhere on the planet. There will be a scan/barcode functionality which will take users directly to the new Mutha FM mobi site.
